The Embassy of Israel in Beijing is looking for a Trade Director.

Position: Trade Director in the Trade and Investment Mission, Israeli Embassy in Beijing

Location: Israel Embassy, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Starting time: immediate, under considerations of the recruitment procedures

Job Description:

The Trade and Investment Mission promotes bilateral trade, investments, and technology cooperation between Israel and China, and assists Israeli companies in doing business in the Chinese market. In order to do so, the Trade Directors are gaining expertise in various industrial and technological sectors; learning what are the Israeli business scopes and the Chinese market's needs; identifying and developing the appropriate channels and contacts; and facilitating business opportunities for both sides.

This involves: developing and maintaining relationships with government and trade organizations; getting access the top-level officials when necessary; conducting market and economic researches; managing both large-scale and small-scale projects and events: participating in international business and diplomatic events in China and abroad; and advertising events, business opportunities and activities using social media and other platforms.

Requirements:

Chinese citizenship

minimum 2 years commitment

academic degree

fluent English and Mandarin(oral and written)

good communication and interpersonal skills

pro-activeness, ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

full control of Microsoft Office programs: WordExcel, PowerPoint

availability for business trips

work experience in the areas of: trade, investments, business development, project management, marketing, social media and/or entrepreneurship-advantage

MBA, MA in Economics or MA in Marketing - advantage

experience in working in an English-speaking environment-advantage
